Edsel C. Lott

Mr. Edsel C. Lott, age 84, a native of Wilmer, AL and resident of Lucedale, MS, died Monday, May 21, 2012 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Lott was retired as an automobile salesman and worked several years as a postal carrier. He was a mason of Lodge 0420 in Leakesville, MS and a WWII veteran. Mr. Lott served as a Deacon of Mount Pisgah Missionary Church where he was a member. He is preceded in death by his wife Hazel Lott. Left to cherish his memory are two sons; Andy (Janet) Lott of Jacksonville, FL and Robert (Teresa) Lott of Pensacola, FL, one daughter, Jan Lott of Lucedale, MS, one sister, Loyal Blankinchip of Citronelle, AL, four grandchildren; Melissa Williams, Phillip Lott, Stephen Lott and Kevin Lott, three great grandchildren; Taylor Williams, Reed Lott and Parker Lott. A wake will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 6 until 9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home, Leakesville, MS. The Funeral Service will be at 11 am Friday, May,25,2012 in Freeman Chapel with Rev. Greg Pearcy and Rev. Joseph Ladner officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
