Mr. Edward Clifton Averette, 79, a native and resident of Tanner Williams, Alabama passed away April 4, 2015. Born November 26, 1935, he was a faithful member of Bread of Life Church in Fairview, Alabama. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family. Mr. Averette was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Averette; son, Roy Averette; parents, Edward and Clara Averette. He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Mary (Johnny) Mazingo and Norma Baker both of Mobile, Alabama. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Frances LaGrone and Betty Cleary of Marion, Alabama, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 1pm funeral service at Faith Temple in Fairview, Alabama on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, with Rev. Timothy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama. Pallbearers honored to serve include Johnathan Averette, Mark Williams, Tim Lane, Lloyd Lane, Glenn Fowler and Richard Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be James King and Joe Taylor.
