Eleanor Hazel Fletcher

Eleanor Fletcher was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 22, 1925. She was raised in Doniphan, Missouri and attended Doniphan High School. She worked during World War II as a civil service worker when she was only eighteen. She retired from Brown Shoe Company out of St. Louis, Missouri in 1989. She spent the remainder of her life in Mobile with her sister and her family. Mrs. Fletcher passed from this life on Friday, December 16, 2016. She loved arts and crafts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Mary M. Cornelson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Leon Cornelson officiating.
