Elizabeth Smith Lewis, age 82, a resident of Turnerville, Alabama passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. She was a member of Restoration Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and being involved in church activities. Mrs. Lewis was a school teacher with the Mobile County Public School System and retired from the Arnold School. She loved Art and painting in her spare time. She was a member of the Citronelle Woman’s Club and volunteered many hours of community service. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Theo Ephriam Lewis; sister, Vickie Smith Robbins; and daughter-in-law, Kim Angel Lewis. Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher Kent Lewis; her daughter, Cindy Lewis Malone; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Kristen, C.T., Durand, Delaine, Caleb, Milo and Kelley; great grandchildren, Ian, Ethan, Ellie, Hayden, Jameson, Skyelar, Gage, Cooper and Lukas; great-great granddaughters, Presley and Layla Kimberly; brother, Tommy Cole Smith; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9pm Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11am Friday, October 26, 2018 at Restoration Church. Burial will follow in Turnerville Cemetery.
