Ellen Amelia Givens

Mrs. Ellen Amelia Givens, age 87, a native and resident of Citronelle, AL., died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at a local hospital. She was a member of Turnerville Holiness Church. She worked at S.H. Kress for over 30 years as the manager of the deli. Mrs. Givens was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Nora Lott; son, John Carl Langele and her siblings. She is survived by her sisters, Estelle Draime and Mamie Boothe; granddaughter, D'Wana (Randall) Fleming; two great-grandchildren, Ariel and Ethan; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the 10:30 Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev Huey Fillingim officiating. Interment will be in Whatley Cemetery.
