Elsie Marie Mizell

Elsie Marie Mizell, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 01, 2017. She was 74 years old. Elsie was born June 15, 1942 to Bill and Mittie Chambliss. Elsie loved the outdoors. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch, raking in her yard, and growing roses. Elsie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quitman Mizell; daughter, Amanda Silvers; and sons, Kenny Chambliss and Ronnie Chambliss. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mike Chambliss and Alice L. Chambliss Glover; grandchildren, Yalindia Jolene Sullivan, Necole Oliveira, Casey Chambliss, Maximillian Chambliss, Savannah Chambliss, Lacey Gray, Chyna Chambliss, Justin Chambliss, Zada Chambliss, Michael Byrd, Jessica Chambliss, Ryan Chambliss, Amanda Chambliss, Belle Chambliss, Kenneth Glasscock, Glenda Glasscock, Ricky Glasscock, and David Glover; several great grandchildren; siblings, Ramona Williams, James Chambliss, Beverly Chambliss, and Louise Childers; best friend, Melvin Silvers; other relatives and friends. Wake will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 6pm until 9pm at Freeman Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home.
