Elsie Virginia Chestang

Elsie Virginia Chestang, 45, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama died July 14, 2014 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Lighthouse of Prayer. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nora Lofton; husband, Joe Chestang; brother, Raymond M. Lofton and nephew, Bradley Sullivan. Left to cherish her memory is daughters, Nora Christina Chestang and Britney Irene Chestang; grandchildren, Jackson, Landyn, Brantley, Joe, Aydrian, Bella and Ison; loving companion of nine years, Howard Sanders; brothers, Bennie Lofton, Jack Lofton, Jay Lofton, Otto Lofton and Jason Allen; sisters, Nora Jean Idom and Laura Johnston; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home on Monday, July, 21, 2014 with Sister Anita Johnston. Burial will follow in Charity Chapel Cemetery.
