Eugene John Gervais

Eugene John Gervais passed away June 01, 2016 at the age of 87 at his home in Chunchula, Alabama. Gene, as he was known by friends and family, was born on November 03, 1928, in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Sidney and Anna Gervais. He was a Veteran of the Army Air Corp and served with the Allied Occupational Forces in Germany at the end of WW ll. Gene retired from the United States Postal Service in Long Beach, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by both his parents, Sidney and Anna Gervais and one son, Ronald Paul Gervais. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ida Seal Gervais; two siblings, Gloria Koreen and Darrel Joseph Gervais; three children, Cherie Anne Humphrey, David Keith Gervais and Cathy Theresa Suarez, as well as, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for Gene at 11am June 03, 2016 in the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery Citronelle, Alabama.
