Eunice Marie Sheffield

Eunice Marie Byrd Sheffield, a wife and mother was led home by Jesus on Friday, June, 9, 2017, where she joined her husband, Robert Sheffield; son, Robert Douglas; and two grandsons, Shannon and Sonny; sister and best friend, Margaret Byrd; brothers, Marvin Byrd and James Byrd. She was 83 years old. Born to Ollie and Hazel Byrd on April 21, 1934 in Citronelle, Alabama where she resided until her passing. Her greatest accomplishment in life were her children, Doug (deceased), Roger Sheffield, Alice Richardson (Allen), Kitty McClure, Steve Sheffield, Rocky Sheffield, Peggy Sheffield (Keith), Donna Jordan (Mike) and Hazel Ott (Melton); sisters, Mary Martin (Buddy), Annette Malone (Jimmy) and Marilyn Gardner (Eddie); brother, L.T. Byrd (Lucille); sister-in-law, Lucille Byrd; proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to give special recognition to the grandchildren who were at her side at her journey home, Tony Sheffield, Marie & Scott Jackson, Brandon & Destiny Sheffield, Chad Sheffield, McKayla Richardson, Hali Ott, Rocky Weldy and Dylan Jones. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the 3pm Funeral Service on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Ray Robinson and Bro. Melton Ott officiating.
