Fannie Ruth Welford

Mrs. Fannie Ruth Welford, age 86, of Citronelle, AL, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. Mrs. Welford was a homemaker and retired cafeteria worker and bus driver with the Mobile County Public School system. She is survived by two sons: Billy Williams, Citronelle, AL, John Paul Williams, Vinegar Bend, AL; two daughters: Loraine Williams Cost, Hartselle, AL, Ruthie Nichols, Citronelle, AL; brother: James Webb, Bay Minette, AL; two sisters: Grace Avera, Gautier, MS, Myrtle Stewart, Foley, AL; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A wake will be held Friday from 6 PM until 9 PM at First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Citronelle with Dr. Elbert Charpie and Rev. Eddie Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Four Points Cemetery.
