Fletcher Byrd, Jr.

Fletcher Byrd, Jr., a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 09, 2020, at Providence Hospital. He was 60 years old. Fletcher was born March 16, 1960 and worked in the logging business. He was preceded in death by his parents Fletcher and Frankie Byrd, brothers, Jimmy Byrd and Huston Weaver, and sisters, Jeanette Byrd and Barbara Sullivan. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Kirk Byrd (Roseann); son, Gary Weaver (Debra); daughter, Raelyn Lofton; three grandchildren; brother, Jesse Byrd; sister, Liza Sullivan; and other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Angie Byrd and Debbie Weaver for their loving care and devotion. The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2020 from 12pm until the 1pm funeral service at Lighthouse of Praise Church with Rev. Ken Davis and Rev. Jesse Byrd officiating.
