In the loving memory of Florence Myrtle Denton, a true Southern belle whose elegance, warmth, and everlasting love enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Florence gracefully departed from this world on February 28, at the age of 97, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.
Born on March 18, 1926 in Choudrant, Louisiana, Florence led a life filled with remarkable experiences and profound connections. Whether she was tending to her beloved garden, preparing delicious meals in the kitchen, losing herself in the pages of a good book, indulging in a shopping spree, or simply enjoying a trip to the beauty shop, she found joy in the little things that brought her happiness. From hosting gatherings filled with laughter and love or simply sharing a quiet moment with a loved one, she made every interaction meaningful and memorable.

She took pride in her appearance, not out of vanity, but as a testament to her reverence for life's beauty.
However, it was not just her outer beauty that made Florence; it was her inner beauty that truly illuminated the world around her. Her fun-loving spirit, caring nature, and selfless devotion to others were evident in every interaction, whether it was through a heartfelt conversation, a warm embrace, or a contagious laugh. Florence had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel cherished and valued.
Family was the cornerstone of Florence’s life, extending far beyond blood relations. Her pure and unconditional love knew no bounds, and she was ever ready to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her home was always open, her table always set, and her heart always overflowing with love, always placing the needs of those around her above her own. Her legacy of love and generosity will continue to shine brightly through the countless lives she has touched.
Central to Florence’s life was her unwavering faith and deep reverence for God. Her devotion was the guiding force behind her actions, infusing every interaction with love, grace, and humility.
