Frank Edward Hansen, 75, a native of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his residence in Vinegar Bend, Alabama. He was a Graduate of Vigor High School 1958, retired from Atlantic Marine 2006 and an active member of St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church, Citronelle, Alabama. Frank was a devoted family man, outdoorsman that enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was a man of many talents, and a master of many trades. He loved working in his garden, music and dancing, making wine, smoking sausage and jerky. He was preceded in death by: his parents; William Albert Hansen and Hazel Moorehead Hansen and his sister: Ruby Hansen Coley. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Eckhoff Hansen; four daughters: Francine (Scott) Herring, Elizabeth Hansen, Veronica (Travis) Griffin, Rebecca (Kelly) Ivy; grandchildren: T.J. (Kate), Olivia, Jacob, Nicholas, Juliet and Genevieve; great grandchild, Evelyn Leigh; sister, Wanda Hansen Gregg; brother-in-law Danny; sister-in-laws, Janice (Peter), Bernie and Andi (Maynard); nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, August 3, 2015 from 10am until the 11am Mass of the Resurrection at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Citronelle with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant.
