Fred "Fat Fred" Pierce

Mr. Fred F. “Fat Fred” Pierce, Sr., 65, a resident of Chunchula, Alabama died August 21, 2013 at a local hospital. He was a construction supervisor and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Newburn Pierce and son, Fred “Bear” Pierce, Jr. He is survived by his children, John Marshall Bowers, Benny (Kandas) Newburn, Daniel (Jessica) Pierce, George “Fat Jack” (Andrea) Pierce, Charisse Bowers, Angela Pierce, Vickie Poirier, Daphne (Henry) Shelton and Felicia Pierce; two brothers, Earl (Shirley) Pierce and Marshall (Jane) Pierce, Jr.; two sisters, Joyce (Randy) Smith and Jean (John) Bosco; twenty two grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 9 am until the 10 am Memorial Service on Friday, August, 23, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Hobbs and Rev. Stan Clayton officiating.
