Freddie Jack Reid, 61, passed away peacefully Monday June 1, 2020 surrounded by his family and friends at his residence in Citronelle. He owned Freddie Reid Construction and was a talented carpenter. Freddie Jack was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting coon, deer and turkey. He was an avid Auburn Tiger football fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Freddie Jack was a Son of the American Legion Post 164 and always helped others in need. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, but most importantly with his loving family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Reid; brothers, Jessie Reid, Robert Dean Reid and Bobby Ray Reid; and sister, Elizabeth Reid. Those left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 42 years, Brenda Reid; mother, Helen Reid; children, Steven Ray Jordan, Terra Hawkins (Wayne), Jack Reid (Beth), April Reid Frazier (JoJo), and Dusty Reid (Alaina); grandchildren, Cole, Marissa, Kamryn, Austin, Zoey, Jaelyne, Dalton, Maci, Charlie, Ann-Marie, Josalynn, Dusty, Jr.; beloved Sugar Baby; brother, Jerry Lee Reid; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A wake will be held from 5-7:30 pm with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 pm in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 with Rev. Mike Reid and Rev. Johnnie Helveston officiating. Graveside service will be 10 am Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Charity Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
