Freddie Lee Ziemer a resident of McIntosh, Alabama passed away June 25, 2023. He was 66 years old. Fred was a loving family man who was deeply cherished by his wife, Karla, and their children, Billy Pinson and Casondra Seim (Gavin). He was also blessed with several grandchildren, Andy, Cyrus, Savannah, Ariana, Asher, Titus, and Swan.

Fred is also survived by his brother, Bill Ziemer; sisters, Donna Hunter (Randy) and Becky Carroll, in-laws, Wes and Gina Leverett and Bruce and Donna Good.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Betty Ziemer; and brothers, John Pierce and Jim Pierce.

Fred proudly served in the United States Coast Guard, demonstrating his commitment to his country. He was known as a hard worker who loved his family deeply and was always generous and helpful to those around him.

His faith was an important aspect of his life, as he had a strong love for the Lord and wanted everyone to know about Jesus.

In his leisure time, Fred enjoyed square dancing and found joy in smoking meat for his family. Additionally, he spent time raising pigs for slaughter, which was an activity he appreciated.

It's evident that Fred left a lasting impact on his loved ones and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held for Fred 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Cross Point Baptist Church, in Citronelle, Alabama.
