Gabriel ''Bubba'' was hand picked by God to be one of his strongest soldiers. He went to be with Jesus and his beloved mother Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Bubba was doubted by doctors his whole life, not expected to make it past 21, but Gabriel was able to fight for 32 years with family by side, especially by his mother, Gail Patrick. He cherished his mother more than the human heart could comprehend. The sound of his mother's voice always made him smile-a smile that could light up a room at the darkest hour. The two would sing gospel music, the most Heavenly sound to experience, and Bubba would even play his wind chimes while he sang. He loved to be pampered by hugs and kisses to his cheek. He had so much love to give but little did he know, we loved him times two. He loved bath time, pudding cups, and family gatherings. His love language was clicking his tongue to the sound of our voice. He may have been physically alone when he said his good-byes, but his best friend, his heart and soul, his other half, his mother, was there holding his hand to take him home.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Elaine Patrick.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Velicia Preston (Ricky), Hannah Rivers (Robin), and Trinity Terrell (Nijale); nieces and nephews, Serenity Wooten (Deangelious), Ana Robles, Abagail Robles, Caleb Preston (Cassie), Jessica Dawson (Elvie), Robin Rivers, Jr., Mikayleigh Rivers, Lakayla Terrell, Melinda Rivers, Elaina Rivers, and Heavenly Rivers; great niece and great nephews, Maurice, Mays, Deangelious, Jr., Mariya, and Dawson.
