George August Schneider, Sr

George August Schneider, Sr. age 86, of Citronelle, Alabama, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Norma Breland Schneider, two sons, George Schneider, Jr. and Scott Schneider all of Citronelle, three daughters, Norma Edmonds (Mike) McKinney of Chunchula, Georgia (Jim) Myers of Spanish Fort, Tina (David) Helveston of Citronelle, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 10:30am funeral service at Freeman Funeral Home with burial in Pine Crest Cemetery with Rev. Arlyn L. Sturtz officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lutheran Hour Ministries, 660 Mason Ridge Center, St. Louis, MO 63141.
