George Henry Shepard, Jr.

George Henry Shepard, Jr., born March 31, 1947, passed away peacefully at his home in Citronelle, Alabama, December 12, 2015. George was a longtime employee of International Paper and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. George also loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Shepard was preceded in death by his parents, George and Doris Shepard; brother, Marvin Lee Shepard; and sister, Sheila Lambert. Those left to cherish George’s memory include his wife, Denice Shepard; his children, Keith (Rachael) Shepard, Shelly (David) Clarke, Chad (Jennifer) Shepard, and Tara Shepard; his grandchildren, Jonathan Henry, David Raleigh, III, Cameron Graham, Blake Henry, Gracie Denice, Jaden Skyler, Brandon Tyler, Chad Robert, Keaton James, Davis Jordan, Hayes Henry, and “Scratch Bunny Rabbit”; his brother Ronnie Earl Shepard; and many nieces nephews, other relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Shepard at 11am on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church in Citronelle, Alabama.
