Mr. George Ray Smith, 63, a native and resident of State Line, MS died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his Mother, Maggie Smith; Father, Walter Smith, Sr.; Two Brothers, Mack C. Smith, Daniel Lee Smith. He is survived by his Fiance, Hilda Joyce Busby of Richton; Two Daughters, Wanda McInnis (John) and Wendy Caten, both of State Line; Three Brothers, Raymond C. Smith of Chatom, AL, Paul C. Smith of Buckatunna, and Walter Smith, Jr. of Semmes, AL; Five Sisters, Betty Whatley of State Line, Louise Loper of Chatom, AL, Alice Simpson of Citronelle, AL, Dorothy Trimble of Gary, IN, and Bernice Hagan of State Line; Four Grandchildren, Destanie McInnis, Patrick Caten, Logan Caten, Christian Caten, all of State Line. Visitation for Mr. Smith will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2011 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro with Rev. Tom Dees officiating. Interment will be in Eret Cemetery.
