Gerald James Munn, 81, a native of Port Townsend, Washington and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Palm Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Munn served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Data Processing Manager with Holcim Industries. He was very active in church activities at Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Mobile, Alabama and Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Citronelle, Alabama. Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Grace Brock Munn; children, Stephen Munn (Jan) and Mary Munn; granddaughters, Stacey Herrington, Alyssa Munn and Clare Munn; sister, Judith Munn; other relatives and friends. The rosary will be recited at 5:45pm, and the wake will follow from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Freeman Funeral Home. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 12pm, Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
