Gilberto Munguia

Gilberto "Beto" Munguia, age 33, a native of Honduras and resident of Mount Vernon died Thursday, October 15, 2009. He worked as an insulator. He is survived by his parents, Vidal Munguia Mairena and Maria Reina Alvarado Galvez of Honduras; His son, Gilberto Stanley "Lil Beto" Munguia of Mount Vernon, AL; One Sister, Norma Munguia of Mobile, AL; One Brother, Luis Munguia of Mobile, AL; Cousins, Mario Munguia, Orlando Munguia, Michelle Merritt - Munguia, Manuel Mairena, Bernardo Zavala, Beto Mairena, Ismael Galvezj, Danilo Moreno, Emerson and Ryland Munguia; One Nephew, Travis Keith Byrd, Jr.; One Niece, Yeri Mejia; Best Friend, Jose Gomez; And other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 1 PM until 3:30 PM at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle with the Mass of the Resurrection beginning at 4 PM at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Citronelle, AL. Burial will be at a later date in Honduras.
