Mrs. Gloria Ann Hovell, 57, a native of New Orleans, LA. and resident of Citronelle, AL. died April 28, 2011. She was a substitute teacher for the Mobile County School System and member of Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Hovell of Citronelle, AL.; father, Emmitt Lindsey, Sr. of Chickasaw, AL.; daughter, Pam Lott of Citronelle, AL.; son, Adam Hovell of Citronelle, AL.; three brothers, Emmitt Lindsey, Jr. of South Carolina, Frank Lindsey of Citronelle, AL. and Gene Lindsey of Chatom, AL.; two sisters, Margaret Shepherd of Citronelle, AL. and Linda Gilley of Chatom, AL.; three grandchildren, Derek Hovell, Garrett Lott and Jarod Lott. A Wake will be 6 - 8 PM Saturday April 30, 2011 at Memorial Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will be 2 PM Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the church with Rev. Dino Danzey and Rev. Stan Clayton officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher Lynch, Terry Carpenter, Terry Richardson, Tony Henderson, Ed Chancery and Derek Hovell. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
