Gordy Quinn Reed

Mr. Gordy Quinn Reed, 73, a native of McIntosh, Alabama and resident of Semmes, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 25, 2014 at his home. He was a crane operator and worked in the scrap metal business. Mr. Reed was a member of Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Della Reed; daughter, Christine Reed Cash; sister, Lynn Stephens; two brothers, Roy Noyal Reed and Burt Reginald Reed. Left to cherish his memory is daughter, Angelique Reed; four grandchildren whom he loved very much, Ethan, Shay, Don and Breanna; siblings, Celena Marks, Mary Walton, Judy Motes, Margie Turner, Carl Reed, Wanda Westerdahl and Sylvia Sue Weaver; son-in-law, William Cash; devoted nephew, Roy Reed, Jr.; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 6-9 pm on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church with Rev.
