Grover Cleveland Weaver, Jr., affectionately known as “Cleve”, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was 62 years old. Cleve was a native of Mount Vernon and a resident of Chunchula, Alabama. He enjoyed the outdoors. In his spare time, Cleve loved to hunt, bass fish, and play ball. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandson. Cleve loved the Lord and loved his church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cleve was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve and Willie Rogene Weaver; siblings, Ray Donald Hopkins, Frances Weaver, Robert Curtis Weaver, Wilethal McDonald, and Cora Weaver. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 12 years, Michelle Weaver; son, Michael Beaugez, Jr.; grandson, Brandon Beaugez; siblings, Katie Sullivan, Mary Alice Lockhart, and Bobby Byrd; brother in law, Thomas Holton; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 1pm funeral Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Rivers of Living Waters Church with Rev. Eddie Rivers and Rev. Mike Walters officiating.
