Harlf Alford Stagner

Harlf Alford Stagner, age 92, a native and resident of Turnerville, AL. died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Citronelle Assisted Living. He was a member of Turnerville Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army Veteran and member of the American Legion. He enjoyed farming and hunting. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Emma Stagner; His Brothers, Alonza Stagner, Jack Stagner, Curtis Stagner, Paul Stagner and Earl Stagner; His Sisters, Lillie Mae Lyons, Mannie Glasscock and Macy Hughes. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and was loved by all. Pallbearers will be Kenneth P. Stagner, William C. Stagner, Jerry E. Stagner, Gary E. Stagner, Willie Hall and Billy Hazelwood. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael P. Stagner, Bernard N. Watts, James R. Stagner, Trevor Watts, Joseph T. Stagner and Ray A. Stagner. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Freeman Funeral Home on Friday, April 3, 2009 with Rev. Tom Dees officiating. Interment will be in Turnerville Cemetery.
