Harmon Parnell

Mr. Harmon Parnell, 79, a resident of Sims Chapel, Alabama passed away April 12, 2012 at a local hospital. He retired from Olin Corporation and was a member of Sims Chapel United Methodist Church and Citronelle Lodge #637 F&AM. He was preceded in death by wife Glendyne Johnston Parnell. Mr. Parnell is survived by two daughters, Ginger R. Parnell and Janea P. (Dr. John F.) Delmas; two sisters, Hattie Turner and Hester Blankenship; two grandchildren, Daniel Harmon Delmas and Victoria Lynn Delmas. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Sims Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Otis Lister officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shiners Burn Unit for Children c/o Abba Shrine Temple, 7701 Hitt Road, Mobile, AL 36522.
