Harold L. Byrd

Mr. Harold L. Byrd, 82, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Friday, October 10, 2014. He retired as a weapons system manager for the Department of the Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, especially a beautiful sunset, camping, and fishing. One of his favorite things to do was to have picnics with his beloved grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is wife of 60 years, Sarah Byrd; daughter, Christine Byrd and son-in-law, Thom Leedom; daughter, Tammie Howard and son-in-law, Kasey Howard; four grandchildren, Ryan, Ethan, Katelyn and Coleton; brother, Harris Byrd and sister-in-law, Pat Byrd; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until the 3 pm funeral service on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Lott, Rev. Dino Danzey and Rev.
