Harry M. Shoemaker

Mr. Harry M. Shoemaker, 67, a native of New Boston, Illinois and resident of Citronelle, Alabama died September 1, 2013. He worked construction and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and Laborers Union # 309. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Ernest and Jessie Ruth Shoemaker; son, Jeremy Edward Shoemaker; sister, Janice Brown; brothers, Robert Shoemaker and John Shoemaker. Left to cherish his memory is loving wife of over forty years, Mary K. Shoemaker; son, Samuel David (Elizabeth) Young; grandson, Jonathan Edward Young all of Citronelle, Alabama; brother, Edward Ernest Shoemaker of New Boston, Illinois; sister, Esther Ruth Rechkemmer of West Burlington, Iowa; other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Southern Care Hospice for the compassion and care given to Mr. Shoemaker in his time of need.
