Harvey Buarl Revells, Jr

Mr. Harvey Buarl Revells, Jr., a native of Columbus, GA. and resident of Citronelle, AL. passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. He was a welding instructor and member of St. Andrew's Chapel, The Lord's Army Ministry and Helping Hands Ministry. Harvey also loved fishing and watching football, baseball and basketball. He was well known in the community as a "father figure". He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Buarl Revells, Sr.; He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Revells of Citronelle; mother, Pauline Revells and her companion, Albert of Columbus, GA; children, Robbie (Brittney) Creed of Auburn, AL, Melanie (Kenny) Weaver of McIntosh, AL, Ricky Revells and Ryan Revells both of Citronelle, Timothy (Madeline) Gauthier of Los Angeles, CA and Elizabeth Abramms of Birmingham, AL; two grandchildren, Kassidy Weaver and Janessa Gauthier; sisters, Bonnie Sue Hall of Columbus, GA and Julie (Steven) Cook of Cataula, GA; brothers, Mike (Sherri) Jones of Orange, TX and Jimmy (Kay) Revells of Columbus, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the 4 pm Funeral Service Monday, August 29, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ellen Lesley officiating. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
