Hazel Marie Rowland Lewis

Hazel Marie Rowland Lewis passed from this life into eternity with God on July 6, 2012. Hazel was a native of Humbolt, NE and life long resident of Leakesville, MS. Mrs. Lewis was a Homemaker and a member of Rocky Creek Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lamar Lewis, parents; William and Stella Rowland and two sisters. She is survived by her seven children; Bruce (Martha) Lewis of Hornsby, TN, Linda "Cookie" Lewis (Steve ) Midgette of Petal, MS, Virgil Lewis, Juanita Lewis (Ron) Foster, Kathy Lewis (J.R.)Vess, Shirley Lewis (Kevin) Marquise, Tina Lewis (Nicky) White, of AL, adopted daughter, Evelyn Box Turner of Citronelle, AL, twelve grandchildren, and an undisclosed number of great grandchildren, three brothers; Donald (Nikki) Rowland of Rolla, MI, Walter (Connie) of Falls City, NE, and Robert (Barb) Rowland of Sabetha, KS, two sisters; Mildred Marrs of Holdridge, NE and Linda (David) Hance of Rolla, MI. A wake will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 from 7 pm until 9 pm at Rockey Creek Church of Christ. The 10 am Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Church, with W.J. Havard officiating. Interment will be at Lewis Cemetery.
