Hilman Chester Helton

Mr. Hilman Chester Helton, 77, a native of Leakesville, Mississippi and resident of Citronelle, Alabama died May 27, 2013. He was a retired security officer and enjoyed hunting, gardening and planting flowers. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and the Citronelle Lodge #637 F&A.M. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Ila Emaline Walley Helton; wife, Bonnie Sellers Helton; sister, Mary Elizabeth and brother, Donald. Mr. Helton is survived by his son, Hilman Dewayne Cooper; three grandchildren, Danny, Allen and Victoria; one great grandchild; brothers-in-law, Eugene Sellers, Joe Sellers, Elwood Sellers, Elmer Sellers and Johnny Sellers; sister-in-law, Betty Sellers Dobbs; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; other relatives and friends. A visitation will be from 10 am until the 11 am Funeral Service on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Deer Park, Alabama with Rev. Kenneth R. Harrison officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Sellers, Danny Landrum, D.J. Landrum, Gyromas Newman, Charlie Davis and Joe Allday. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
