Ida Mae Reed, 83, a lifelong resident of McIntosh, Alabama passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Citronelle Convalescent Center. She owned and operated Reed’s Grocery for twelve years. She was a charter member of Magnolia Holiness Church in McIntosh. She loved going to church, working the potato shed, having yard sales and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coney Clayton Reed, son, Irvin Donald Reed, sister, Mattie Jane Reed, brother, Bobby C. Covington and granddaughter, Tonya Reed. She leaves to cherish her memory children, Norma Gray, Lena (Dillard) Covington, Maple (Donald) Lemley, Johnny (Joann) Reed, Mike (Lila) Reed, Ike (Ann) Reed, Lelia (Jorge) Rivera, Jeanette (Michael) McNeill, Lee (Carla) Reed, Josie (Joseph) Byrd, Theodore (Misty) Reed, Lonnie Reed, Kirk (Melissa) Reed, Janie Willis, Mitzy Byrd and Sally Flores-Cruz; 25 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; caregiver, Barbara Garner; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at 5pm at Magnolia Holiness Church. Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Ike Reed, Rev. Percy Carl Rivers and Rev.
