Irma Jean Davidson-Tomlinson, affectionately known as "Dolly," passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 19, 1939, she brought joy and warmth to the lives of everyone who knew her.

Dolly was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, taking immense pride in her family. She is survived by her son, Jerry Tomlinson, and daughter-in-law, Irene; grandsons, Jerry Tomlinson and Matthew Tomlinson (Taylor); and her cherished great-grandchildren, Anastasia, Quinley, Matthew Dalton, and Ryder. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her deeply. Her parents, Daniel "Webb" and Irma Davidson, preceded her in death, along with her son, Riley Tomlinson; her grandson, Samuel Tomlinson; and her siblings, Margie Lee Booth, Merlene Loper, Betty Jean Savage, Audrey Carol Newburn, and Robert Leon Davidson.

Dolly had a vivacious spirit and enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved playing bingo, dominos, word search puzzles at the Citronelle Senior Citizens Center. Crafting was another passion of hers that showcased her creativity. Her fondness for jewelry earned her the nickname of "Diamond Lil." She also enjoyed dining out, especially at seafood restaurants. She was admired not just for her interests but also for the love she poured into her relationships and the pride she felt in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The family will honor her memory with a visitation at Freeman Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 11:00 AM with Bro. Tom Dees officiating. Burial to follow in Escatawpa Cemetery.

Irma Jean "Dolly" Davidson-Tomlinson leaves behind a rich legacy of love, laughter, and unity, and her presence will forever be felt in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family would like to thank Vital Care Hospice, Charles McCree, Ethel McCoy for their love, support, and care shown to Dolly. Especially her nieces, Debbie Hosford and Cindy Newburn Davis.
