Mrs. Irma Lee Byrd, 85, a resident of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away, Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Never Ending Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Murray Byrd, Sr. and grandson, Justin C. Byrd. Left to cherish her memory is her children, Polly Byrd, Sancer Byrd, Cora Byrd, Eva Byrd, Nettie Byrd Villemaire, Deborah Byrd Holmes, James M. (Laurey) Byrd, Jr., Carol J. (Marlin) Byrd and Margie Byrd (Gary) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Wallace, Jr., Abraham, Jeremy, Josh, Dana, Alisha, Tommy, Jr., Rhonda, Vince, Jr., Dustin, Victoria, Austin, Jeremiah, Tammy, Michael, Ludie, Anna, James Ray, Morgan, Riley, Candace, Cameron, Spud and Jade; thirty two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Never Ending Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Sullivan officiating.
