Isaac Johnston

Isaac Johnston, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his home. He was 79 years old. Isaac served in the United States Army during The Vietnam War and worked for the State of Alabama at the Alabama Grain Elevator over 40 years. Isaac was a man of many talents that could fix anything, gaining himself the title of ''Alabama Genius'' by his family and friends.

Isaac was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Felicia Johnston; two sisters, Vern Patrick and Dorothy Weaver; many children; a host of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Charity Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers include his grandchildren, Xavier Sager, Johnny Gray, and Nick Duncan; nephews, Johnny Ledger, Dustin Dueitt, and Vernon Cowart.
