Isabell Barbara Reed, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, September 08, 2017, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. She was 75 years old. Barbara was born December 05, 1941 to Tom and Ellen Reed. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lavon “Bonnie” and Ora Jeannette. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lillian Rivers (Van); nephews, Ralph Maddox (Theresa) and Eric Rivers (Priscilla); niece, Barbara Antoinette “Net” Helveston; raised as her children, Millie Byrd and Nick Byrd; dearest friends, Linda Lofton; special friends, Dennis and Pam Byrd; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Shaw and Rev. Wilbert Reed officiating.
