J. C. Lott

April 2, 1923 — October 14, 2011

Mr. J.C. Lott, born April 2, 1923, went to be with our Lord and Master on October 14, 2011. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sarah Crabtree Lott of Georgetown; one son, Johnny Lott of Wilmer; three daughters, Mary (Wayne) Rascoe of Eight Mile, Patricia (Jesse) Moore of Coffeeville and Alice (Rocky) Denmark of Wilmer; three stepdaughters, Brenda Boothe of Gulfport, MS., Debra (Boyd) Miller of Citronelle and Chris (Melvin) Dixon of Leakesville, MS.; sixteen grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; sister, Voncille Robinson of Atwater, CA.; one brother, Frank (Jean) Lott of Citronelle; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Mr. Lott was a faithful member of Georgetown Baptist Church, a World War II veteran, retired from Mobile County Road and Bridge with thirty six years of service. He was a member of Citronelle Lodge No. 637 F.& A.M., Abba Temple Shrine, Mobile County Sheriff's Posse, Leaf River Riding Club, Inductee into Gulf Central Horseman Association Hall of Fame and Co-founder of Deep South Wagoneers Association. The Wake will be 5pm until on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Georgetown Baptist Church-10651 Lott Road, Chunchula, AL. 36521. The Funeral Service will be 11 am Monday, October 17, 2011 at the church with Rev. Eddie Brunson, Rev. Justin Lott, Rev. Stan Clayton and Bro. Ken Manning officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Lott, Sr., Richard Rascoe, Michael Moore, Johnny Lott, Jr., Rocky Denmark, Jr., Jeremy Lott, Melvin Dixon, Jr. and Garrett Hicks.
