Jack Stevenson Chestang

Jack Stevenson Chestang, 46, a native and resident of Fairford, Alabama passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Springhill Memorial Hospital. “Lil Jack” was injured at a young age, but did not let his disability hinder him. He was a loving person and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was an avid Auburn Tigers fan, loved watching all the games and tried his best to convert everybody to be on the “winning side”. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Paul Johnston. Those left to cherish his memory includes his mother, Mattie Johnston; father, Jack Chestang (Charlotte); siblings, Tara Weaver (Daffy), Brooke Sullivan (Jerry), C.J. Chestang, April Johnston and Belinda Johnston; devoted uncles, Elvin Chestang (Dot), Kenner Chestang (June), Lonnie Chestang (Gail) and Tommy Chestang (Laurie); devoted aunts, Lillie Kenney and Ola Mae Garcia (Hector); nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2pm until the 3pm funeral service on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at St. Thomas Holiness Church in Fairford, Alabama with Rev. Eddie Stringfellow officiating.
