Jacqueline B Carpenter

Jacqueline B. Carpenter, fondly known as "Jackie", passed away on May 22, 2023, at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Woodland, Texas. She was born on November 16, 1942.

Jackie was a light-hearted person who loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. She had a generous heart and a loving personality that made everyone feel welcome around her. Jackie had an unwavering love for her family and truly enjoyed being a grandmother/great-grandmother.

She found joy in shopping, spending time with family, eating out and giving gifts. Her smile would brighten up any room she walked into and her positive attitude was contagious.

Jackie is survived by her children, Van Carpenter and daughter Linda Guardado; grandchildren, Mandy Barber, Lauren Duval, Sara Baltazar, Jason Lindsay, and Brandon Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Eli, Hannah, Raymond, Emily, Benjamin, Sofia, Jackson, and Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Carpenter; father, Jack Budjick; mother, Jahnnie Waring; and brother, Howard Budjick.

Funeral services will be held in memory of Jackie on June 3, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home. The Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by the Graveside Service at Pine Crest Cemetery located in Citronelle Alabama. 

Those who knew Jackie will always cherish the memories they shared with her and the love she showered upon them. She brought happiness to every life she touched and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
