James (Jimmy) Darrell Millikan 63, died suddenly in an automobile accident in Huxford, AL on Thursday December 23, 2021. While he will be missed by many, we are thankful he is in the arms of the Lord our God.
He was born in Gary, IN on August 2, 1958 to the late William Redgmon and Laverle Millikan. He was a skilled carpenter by trade and is well known as a talented woodworker. He was the kindness, sweetest man you could ever meet. He would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Jimmy and his wife Karen have been long residents of Huxford.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Millikan, sons Chris Millikan (Courtney) of Crosby, TX, JT Franklin of Atmore, AL, and Jeffery Vickery of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Michelle Kimmons (Mike) of Molino, FL, Jenifer Stratton (Mike) of Pensacola, Fl and Tara Franklin of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brooklyn Robertson, Makayla Plummer, Allie and Harley Millikan, Lindsey and Samantha Kimmons, Brycen and Brooklyn Stratton, Marshall Wall, Peyton, Kendra and Cameron Franklin. He is also survived by one brother, Wayne (Dee) of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Nancy Heathcock (Jack) of Fruitdale, AL and Irma Corbell (Mike) of Seabrook, TX; two sisters-in-law, Gail Stamps and Teresa Albritton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on January 6th at Living Word Church in Citronelle, AL officiated by Pastor Marc Hobbs. Visitation starts at 10:00 am followed by services at 11:00. Burial will be at South Grove Cemetery in Fruitdale, AL. Pallbearers are Marshall Wall, Cory Heathcock, Blayne Heathcock, Jessie Ellison, Karmin Hall and Matt Corbell.
