James Edwin Brown

Mr. James Edwin Brown, 82, a native of Hazelhurst, Mississippi and resident of Citronelle, Alabama died July 22, 2013 at a local hospital. He was a retired chemist and member of Living Word Church. Mr. Brown enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Brown devoted his life to ministering to others while preaching and teaching the Gospel. Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Irene Brown; son, James Edwin (Tressie) Brown, Jr. of Bonaire, Georgia; daughter, Linda Sue (Dan) Baker of Cartersville, Georgia; eight grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The Wake will be from 6-9 pm on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 11 am Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Living Word Church with Rev. Marcus Hobbs and Rev. Otis Lister officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
