James Elvis Sullivan

James Elvis Sullivan, 55, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. James worked at Searcy Hospital, ADDSCO, construction and timber. He loved playing his guitar, listening to country music and dancing. James was preceded in death by father, Charlie Sullivan; mother, Josephine Byrd; step-grandson, Nathan "Nate" Burkett; brother, Charles Sullivan, and sister, Elizabeth Adams. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 22 years, Barbara Sullivan; son, Waylon Heath Weaver; step-sons, Terry (Susan) Burkett, Randy Burkett and Tommy (Jennifer) Burkett; sisters, Maggie G. Rivers and Mary Sue Weaver; one granddaughter, 15 step-grandchildren & 8 step-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service at Lighthouse of Praise Church with Rev. Ken Davis and Rev. Robert Byrd officiating.
