James Logan O'Neal Johnston, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022. He was 20 years old. James was born August 23, 2002, to Jerry and Arlene Johnston. James loved music, especially country music and enjoyed all his Elmo toys and his learning bear. Most of all, James loved to spend time with his brother, ''Ray Ray.'' James was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Arlene Jordan; father, Jerry Johnston; siblings, Steven Ray Jordan, Jerry Arness Jordan (Janice), Rhonda Gay Jordan (Homer), Holland Ray Hilscher, Brooklyn Nicole Randall (Corey), and Justin Michael Randall (Destiny); special aunts, Libbie Reed, Dedria Wadkins, Mattie Brown, and Diane Reed; nieces and nephews, Heather Arlene Newburn (Jacob), Joel Eugene Prine, Jr. (Morgan), Karissa Alexandra Perdue (Tanner Perdue), and Sanvanna LaRae Prine; great-nephew, Adam Lee Perdue; other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held for James from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, September 16, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Prine and Rev. Willie Long, Jr. officiating.
