James Edward Robinson

Mr. James Edward Robinson, 88, of Citronelle, AL passed from this life Monday, January 22, 2024 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He was born in Choctaw County, AL on Tuesday, January 29, 1935 to Edward Robinson and Mary Magdalene Robinson. He was a member of Cedar Creek Holy Church of God.  He was a retired Carpenter. Mr. James Edward is preceded in death by his father, Edward Robinson and mother, Magdalene Robinson; sisters, Sylvia McIlwain, and Carolyn Willoughby. He is survived by his wife, Minerva Robinson, Citronelle, AL; son, Michael Robinson (Rebecca), State Line, MS; daughter, Barbara Robinson (Wayne), Citronelle, AL; brother, Al Robinson, Gilbertown, AL; sisters, Doris Campbell, Gilbertown, AL, Jeanette Boykin (Roy), Gilbertown, AL; grandchildren, Valerie Ezell (C. J.), Mariah Robinson, Jonathan Robinson; and great grandchild, Elisabeth Ezell. Visitation for Mr. James Edward will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Lie-In-State will be held from 10-11 AM Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Gilbertown Church of God, 3737 Crimson Road (GPS), Gilbertown, AL . The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the church with Rev. Darius Templeton and Rev. Fred Wiley officiating. Interment will be in Gilbertown Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jonathan Robinson, Darrin Robinson, Bart Robinson, Joel Boykin, Marlon Boykin, Marcus Campbell, Jonathan Willoughby, John Mark Willoughby.
