Jeremiah Fields, age 75, a native and resident of McIntosh, AL., died Monday, October 4, 2010 at Providence Hospital. He was a member of Reed's Chapel Baptist Church and worked as a chemical plant supervisor. Mr. Fields also served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Nancy Alberta (Weaver) Field and three siblings, Spencer Fields, Jr., Carol Lee Perkins and Barbara Ann Johnston. He is survived by his wife, Tempress Fields; two sons, Kirk Fields of McIntosh, AL. and Francis Fields of Fruita, CO.; two daughters, Darla Graves of Collinsville, OK. and Danielle Byrd of McIntosh, AL.; Six Brothers, Jodie Johnston, Van Johnston, Gilbert Johnston, Luther Johnston, and David Johnston, all of McIntosh, AL and James Johnston of Chickasaw, AL; two sisters, Patricia Shehan of St. Stephens, AL and Rena Byrd of McIntosh, AL; five grandchildren, Haley Fields and Collin Fields, both of Chatom, AL, Jordan Fields and Andrew Fields, both of Fruita, CO. and Zackary Pickle of McIntosh, AL. A wake will be from 6 PM to 9 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle. The Funeral service will be at Reed's Chapel Baptist Church at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 with Rev. Rickey Turner and Rev. Bennett Weaver officiating. Interment will be at Reed's Chapel Cemetery in McIntosh, AL.
