Jerry Morris Rivers

Jerry Morris Rivers, 65, a lifetime resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Jerry was a very friendly man who loved to talk to everybody. He loved music and loved sitting under his big oak tree. Jerry was loved by many and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Jessie Mae Rivers; and his brother, Alfred Rivers. Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Mary Walthall, Betty Brett, and Jessie Burton; brothers, Percy Carl (Jewel) Rivers and Charles Rivers; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the 2pm funeral service on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev. Ike Reed officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
