Jessie Lavera Coleman,80, a native and resident of Turnerville, Alabama passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She worked as a home health nurse for many years and was a member of River of Life Church. She was a mother not only to her children, but to everyone. She loved everyone unconditionally. She loved family gatherings, cooking, music and collecting pictures of special occasions. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jewel Bentley; husband, Jacob ''Bubba'' Coleman; son, Pedro Coleman; granddaughter, Monica Bradford; and seven siblings. Those left to cherish her memory is her children, Mona Box (Steve), Ralph Coleman, Frankie Coleman (Kate), and Jacob Coleman (Alexandrea); 21 grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brothers, J.C. Bentley and Luke Bentley (Pat); nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Lott and Rev. Tommy Norman officiating.
