Jimmy Allen Snow, Sr., a native of McIntosh, Alabama, and a resident of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away September 21, 2015 in North Platte, Nebraska. Jimmy spent the years of his youth in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a truck driver with KLLM for 29 years. Jimmy loved to travel to Alabama to visit his family and friends. He enjoyed Aunt Susie’s banana pudding; watching old Western and kungfu movies; telling stories about his family, especially his little brother, Junior’s boxing adventures; and you never knew what he would say next because he loved to make people laugh. He tried to shine his light wherever he went. Jimmy was a blessing to many people and was always willing to help others any way he could. He loved the Lord, his twin boys, and his grandkids very much. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Tisdale, Snow, Sr. and Mattie Snow; and step son, Bobby Quiambao. He will be truly missed by all who knew him, especially by his sister, Susie Boudreaux; brother, Tisdale Snow, Jr.; son, Jimmy A. (Sheila) Snow, Jr.; grandchildren, Jackson and Anne Marie; son, Timmy A. (Amy) Snow; grandchildren, Madi, Tiffany, Ethan, and Chloe Grace; step children, William Norwood, Laura (James) Graves, and Renee Girault; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Jimmy from 6pm to 10pm on Friday, September 25, 2015, at McKenley Holiness Church in McIntosh, Alabama. The funeral service will be 11am on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at McKenley Holiness Church with Rev. Jackie Snow officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Reed's Chapel Cemetery.
