Joe F. Robbins

Joseph F. Robbins, 79, was born February 1, 1935 in Cottondale, AL to Joe and Ada Robbins. Joe passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at his residence in Citronelle, AL surrounded by his family and friends. He worked for Liberty National Life Insurance Company, was a land developer and spent his retirement years nurturing his pecan orchard and operating Jubilee Farms. Joe loved his animals and delighted in riding Jake, his favorite horse.

Joe was a faithful member of First Baptist Church-Citronelle, a bible scholar and a lifetime lover of gospel music.

Joe was treasured by his family, including his wife of 60 years, Rose Watts Robbins; his four children, Deborah Kay Robbins (Joe B), Mark Lansing Robbins (Judy), Rebecca Willcutt (Christopher), and Joseph Timothy Robbins; his five grandchildren, Alexandra Leigh Bush (Ben), Lauren Lansing Robbins, Shelby Price Robbins, Anna Rose Victoria Abangan, and Joseph Lansing Robbins; and Addison Wyatt, his great-grandson; “The Sisters”, Joyce Black, Mary Austin, and Linda Robbins; two brothers, Doug Robbins and Steve Robbins; and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 1, 2014 from 10am until the 11am funeral service at First Baptist Church-Citronelle. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery with Rev. Elbert Charpie officiating. Freeman Funeral Home – Citronelle.
